Description
Our client, a highly specialized US-based manufacturer of products commonly used in the manufacturing or process industries, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of a large team of professional salespeople
- Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs
- Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
- Act as company representative at trade association meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of actual high performance sales management
- Sales Management experience in manufacturing field
- Experience with multi-channel sales
- Impeccable management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Travel, from 30%-50% of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
