John Bogosian is a Principal, Board Advisor, and Co-Owner of King & Bishop Companies, bringing more than 30 years of experience advising organizations on growth strategy, talent, and operational execution.
He partners with boards, CEOs, and leadership teams to scale businesses, strengthen leadership infrastructure, and navigate complex inflection points including growth, transformation, and succession.
As a business owner and operator, John has played a central role in expanding King & Bishop into a nationally recognized firm delivering integrated executive search, consulting, and talent solutions. His perspective is grounded in hands-on experience building and leading businesses—making him a pragmatic and trusted advisor to private companies seeking both strategic insight and executional support.
John’s career spans leadership roles across staffing, consulting, and coaching. Prior to acquiring King & Bishop in 2004 with Brendan King, he held regional leadership responsibility with B&M Associates, founded a temporary staffing firm, and served as Vice President for a global career and executive coaching organization, where he led business development and coaching initiatives. He later served as Head of Staffing for a publicly traded medical device company. This breadth of experience enables him to advise across organizational design, talent strategy, and revenue growth.
In his board and advisory work, John is known for his collaborative approach, strategic clarity, and ability to align leadership teams around actionable plans. He has served as a Board Advisor to growing private companies and brings particular value in talent strategy, leadership development, and scaling operations.
John has an extensive track record of governance and nonprofit leadership. He served on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Massachusetts (including Chair, 2013–2014), was an Honorary Board Member of Samantha’s Harvest, and served on the board of Lahey Health Cancer Institute from 2017 to 2025. He also held a volunteer committee role with the Cummings Foundation’s “100 for 100” initiative.
He is a member of the Council of Armenian Executives and a longtime participant in Vistage International, a global CEO peer advisory organization. He has also served on the boards of the Association of Employment Professionals and the Massachusetts Staffing Association.
John is a frequent speaker at business, human resources, and leadership forums, sharing insights on talent strategy, leadership effectiveness, and business growth.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and completed the “Reinventing Your Business Strategy” program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
