We are hiring on behalf of our client for a highly creative and strategic Marketing Events Manager to lead the development and execution of standout brand experiences across major sports, and entertainment. From marquee events like the Super Bowl and New York Fashion Week to league summits, trade shows, and untapped brand opportunities, this role is ideal for someone who knows how to take an idea and run with it.
The ideal candidate is equal parts creative visionary, relationship builder, and operational executor — someone who can identify new opportunities to elevate the brand while flawlessly managing logistics, partnerships, agencies, and event execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, planning, and execution for major sports and brand events across the annual marketing calendar
- Develop innovative event concepts and experiences that strengthen brand visibility and audience engagement
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities, event placements, and untapped channels to represent the brand
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, product, partnerships, and leadership teams to deliver cohesive event experiences
- Manage relationships with leagues, vendors, venues, and agency partners
- Lead event execution from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
- Oversee event logistics including shipping, storage, production coordination, and onsite execution
- Manage event budgets, forecasts, and reporting
- Brief and direct outside agencies and creative partners when applicable
- Support select B2B marketing initiatives, industry events, and experiential opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, trade marketing, sports marketing, or a related field
- Experience within sports, apparel, lifestyle, entertainment, consumer brand, or a similar fast-paced industry strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead events from concept to execution
- Strong creative mindset with the ability to build experiences from scratch
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external partners
- Exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
- Comfortable making decisions quickly in fast-moving environments
- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and execution skills
- Passion for sports, culture, branding, and live experiences is a major plus
