Administrative Assistant
Location: Chelmsford, MA | On-site
Schedule: Full Time, 30 Hours per Week
Pay: $22–$25/hour, based on experience
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly organized, professional, and dependable Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support to organizational leadership.
This is a 30-hour-per-week, on-site position offering a flexible schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling needs
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries
- Perform light bookkeeping and maintain internal databases
- File, scan, and organize office documents and records
- Draft and distribute correspondence and communications
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Coordinate organization-wide mailings and newsletters
- Assist with facility rental inquiries, scheduling, and related logistics
- Provide general administrative support to leadership and other organizational stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
- Professional and discreet when handling confidential matters
- Familiarity with standard office equipment, including copiers and scanners
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Armenian language skills are a plus, but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- 30 hours per week
- Flexible schedule to be established with organizational leadership
- $22–$25/hour, depending on experience
