Description

Position Summary
The Sr. Accountant supports the Corporate Accounting team by performing complex general ledger activities and ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. This role is responsible for treasury control, fixed asset and lease accounting, intercompany transactions, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, manufacturing experience, and a process-focused mindset within a highly automated, paperless environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review month-end financial statements.

  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations for complex/high-level accounts.

  • Maintain and manage period-end close schedules.

  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries for assigned accounting areas.

  • Perform daily treasury control activities, including cash monitoring and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage fixed asset and lease accounting.

  • Support internal and external audit requests.

  • Assist with process improvement, documentation, and internal control enhancements.

  • Participate in system implementations, projects, and knowledge transfer activities.

  • Provide timely responses and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.

  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working in a paperless, technology-driven accounting environment.

  • Customer-focused with the ability to support stakeholders remotely.

  • Professional presence and strong teamwork orientation.

  • Process-driven with the ability to document and improve workflows.

  • High degree of accountability, initiative, and curiosity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

  • CPA preferred.

  • 3–5 years of public accounting (Tier 1–2 assurance) or public company corporate accounting experience.

  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience with treasury control, fixed assets, leases, and intercompany accounting.

  • Experience in multi-location or multi-entity environments.

  • Proficiency with accounting technology; OneStream strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work Monday–Friday on-site with extended hours as needed (e.g., month-end close).
