Description

Procurement & Logistics Finance Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Finance Manager to serve as a strategic finance partner within the supply chain organization. This role will provide financial oversight, analysis, and decision support across procurement and logistics functions with direct P&L responsibility.

Operating within the fresh produce industry, this position requires a strong understanding of the financial and operational complexities associated with seasonal volume fluctuations, spot-market pricing, transportation, storage, and demanding customer service levels.

The Procurement & Logistics Finance Manager will partner closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial leadership to improve cost efficiency, protect margins, and provide greater financial visibility across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership and analysis across procurement and logistics operations.
  • Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain cost-per-unit, cost-to-serve, and margin analysis models.
  • Analyze supply chain costs, including inbound freight, cold storage, 3PL services, palletization, and outbound distribution.
  • Monitor cost and margin performance, conducting root-cause analysis to identify key drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate procurement costs, market pricing, volume trends, and operational performance to support margin optimization.
  • Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Support initiatives focused on cost efficiency, supply chain performance, and improved financial transparency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of finance experience with significant exposure to supply chain finance, procurement finance, and/or cost accounting.
  • Experience within food manufacturing, fresh produce, agriculture, FMCG, manufacturing, or another perishable goods environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial and cost modeling capabilities, including experience building cost-per-unit, cost-to-serve, and margin waterfall models.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain cost structures, including freight, warehousing, 3PL, storage, and distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with non-finance operational stakeholders and translate complex financial analysis into actionable business insights.
  • CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
