Description
Our client, a leading market research and intelligence firm, has an immediate opening for a part-time Human Resources Manager. This role will lead and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s mission, vision, and values and translate them into engaging content for employee-facing web pages, social media, and recruitment platforms
- Lead and manage employee wellness and professional development initiatives
- Oversee internal and external employer branding efforts to enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice
- Position the company’s brand as a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining top talent
- Manage daily HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, document retention, and benefits administration
- Serve as the primary liaison with the company’s HR service provider
- Lead the annual benefits review process to ensure optimal employee coverage aligned with budgetary considerations
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records on internal HR systems and the company intranet
- Oversee the performance management process, including the annual review cycle, and provide training to managers on effective performance evaluation practices
- Communicate updates related to benefits, policies, and compliance requirements
- Provide guidance on company policies, employee conduct, grievance procedures, and other HR matters
- Manage recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn and oversee the full hiring process
- Coordinate hiring efforts with stakeholders, including job postings, interviews, applicant tracking, and offer letter preparation
- Advise managers on hiring strategies, onboarding, training, and performance management to ensure best practices in all personnel decisions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR experience for a small company
- Broad knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
- Experience designing and executing annual performance review programs to develop talent
- Strong understanding of employee benefits, health plans, and HRIS systems
- Background in employer branding and reputation-building initiatives
- Skilled in recruitment, candidate sourcing, and onboarding processes
- Outstanding communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
