Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to design, implement, and lead impactful training programs that drive employee growth and organizational performance. This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid schedule based near Norwood, MA.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in training strategy, LMS administration, and leadership development—along with a passion for building a culture of continuous learning across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy, incorporating online, classroom, and on-the-job learning.

  • Partner with leadership and department managers to identify training needs and build solutions that enhance employee skills, engagement, and career progression.

  • Serve as the LMS subject matter expert, overseeing administration, reporting, and content creation.

  • Design, upload, and manage training modules, certifications, and learning paths tailored for both hourly and management-level employees.

  • Measure training effectiveness through reporting and analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs.

  • Lead the creation and rollout of onboarding, leadership development, compliance, and operational training programs.

  • Coach and manage a team of training specialists to ensure consistency and high-quality delivery.

  • Manage training budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines.

  • Champion a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 3+ years of L&D experience within the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry.

  • Proven ability to design, implement, and facilitate training programs for employees and managers.

  • Hands-on LMS experience, including content development, administration, and reporting.

  • Strong business acumen with a focus on performance improvement and results.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
