Description

Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a growing manufacturing organization near Rochester, NH. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and leadership, supporting all aspects of employee relations, performance management, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and business-minded—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with employees and managers to foster a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.

  • Support day-to-day HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, coaching, investigations, and workforce planning.

  • Collaborate with managers and centers of excellence (COEs) to implement HR initiatives aligned with business goals.

  • Contribute to recruiting efforts through candidate screening, coordination, and interview support (no sourcing required).

  • Lead and support programs related to onboarding, offboarding, engagement, safety, and training.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while providing fair, consistent guidance.

  • Partner with leadership on organizational development, talent planning, and change management initiatives.

  • Stay current with employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Assist with HR data preparation for compliance and reporting, including EEO and Affirmative Action requirements.

  • Work collaboratively on projects related to employee engagement, culture, and policy optimization.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of HR Business Partner experience, including employee relations, recruiting support, and generalist functions.

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment required.

  • Proficiency with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.

  • Highly adaptable, solution-oriented, and engaged with the business.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
