Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support their growing operations. You will be responsible for managing customer communications, processing orders, and providing administrative support across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and occasional in-person interactions.
- Provide timely and accurate information on product availability, order status, and service offerings.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Process customer orders, quotes, and change requests using ERP, MES, and Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Proactively communicate updates on orders and timelines to customers.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system, including customer interactions, orders, and issue tracking.
- Prepare and distribute necessary customer documentation such as reports, invoices, and shipping records.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and generate internal reports as required.
- Collect customer feedback and escalate recurring concerns to management for potential process improvements.
- Support ongoing efforts to enhance customer service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in internal meetings to share insights and suggest solutions to common service challenges.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written.
- Experience with ERP systems (JobBOSS² preferred) and scheduling software is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Eagerness to learn new systems and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
