Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant to join the Breast Surgical Oncology team. In this role, you will support physicians and healthcare staff by providing both clinical and administrative assistance, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during patient examinations and treatments.

Take and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.

Perform basic X-ray procedures under supervision of licensed radiology technologists.

Assist with patient inhalation treatments as prescribed.

Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling, maintaining patient records, and coding procedures.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Assist with basic life support measures in emergency situations.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong patient service and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with both patients and staff.

Proficient in vital sign measurement and accurate documentation.

Knowledge of safe medication administration practices.

Familiarity with basic X-ray procedures and equipment operation.

Understanding of human anatomy and physiology to support accurate procedures.
Qualifications
Required:

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Preferred:
-
1+ year of experience using EMR systems.
-
Medical Assistant Certification.
-
CPR/BLS Certification.
-
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
