What You’ll Do
- Process bank transactions and complete reconciliations
- Conduct weekly MassHealth eligibility checks and monthly billing audits
- Ensure accurate billing for MassHealth and Department of Developmental Services funding sources
- Manage Representative Payee payments, reporting, and rent determinations
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Support month-end, year-end, and audit processes
- Provide administrative support, including phones, visitors, and office coordination
- Assist with compliance tracking, safety audits, and internal reporting
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support additional projects as needed
What You Bring
- 1–2+ years of billing, accounting, or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with accounting or billing systems preferred
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment
This is a dynamic role that includes office, program site, and community-based work. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods is required.
