Description

Our sports medicine client is seeking a seasoned Finance/Industrial Controller to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting across our manufacturing operations. In this newly created role, you will serve as a strategic partner to both finance and operations teams, driving cost efficiency, performance insights, and data-backed decision-making. 

  Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for production, inventory, and operations 
  • Manage product costing, variance analysis, and root cause investigations 
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for manufacturing functions 
  • Monitor KPIs (efficiency, yield, waste, resource utilization) and deliver actionable insights 
  • Collaborate with plant, supply chain, and operations teams to optimize costs and support investment projects 
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards 
  • Drive automation and digital transformation in financial reporting 
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives (e.g., capex, make-or-buy studies) 
  • Assist with financial consolidation and reporting packages 
  • Participating in inventory counts and asset reviews 

 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (min)  - Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business strongly preferred 
  • 5+ years (finance, cost accounting, or controller) 
  • Industrial cost control experience 
  • Manufacturing industry experience 
  • Strong cost accounting and ERP system expertise 
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, QlikView, SQL, Access) 
  • Financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and process improvement 
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration 
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • Work closely with USA and International teams 
  • Interact with internal departments (Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, etc.) and external partners (vendors, auditors) 
  • Limited travel required
