Position Summary
The HRIS Specialist will design, develop, and maintain the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems, with a primary focus on UKG Ready. This role supports HR operations by ensuring data accuracy, optimizing system workflows, and managing integrations across platforms. As the primary technical resource for HR applications, the HRIS Specialist partners closely with HR Operations and serves as a key liaison to the IT team.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain HRIS functionality with a strong focus on UKG Ready.

Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, interfaces, and automated file feeds.

Configure system modules, workflows, and user permissions to support HR and organizational needs.

Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.

Manage system updates, releases, and enhancements; collaborate with vendors and IT teams as needed.

Ensure data integrity across HR platforms and support integrations with external systems.

Partner with HR Operations to streamline processes and drive system optimization.

Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS inquiries, technical issues, and user support.
Must-Have Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on development experience in UKG Ready (configuration, reporting, integrations, workflows).

Ability to work on-site 2 days per week in Waltham, MA.

Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Solid understanding of HR operations and related processes.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across HR and IT teams.
