Description

We are seeking an HR / Recruiting Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for consulting clients while assisting with internal human resources operations. This role works closely with both external clients and internal teams to support hiring initiatives, candidate experience, and day-to-day HR functions.

This position may also assist with business development activities, including networking, outreach, and social media engagement to help support growth within the consulting sector. Bonus opportunities may be available based on new business development.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for consulting clients, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and reference checks.

  • Evaluate candidates for skills, experience, and culture fit.

  • Maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source of hire.

  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.

Human Resources

  • Support the onboarding process for internal hires, including background checks, offer letters, orientation coordination, and equipment setup.

  • Maintain employee records and HR systems, including employee profiles and documentation in ADP.

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and HR projects.

  • Provide support for day-to-day HR activities including training coordination, benefits inquiries, and employee documentation.

Business Development Support

  • Participate in networking events, outreach, and social media engagement to support business growth.

  • Assist in building relationships with potential clients and industry contacts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 3–7 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources.

  • Experience working with both clients and internal stakeholders preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, CareerPlug, and ADP or similar HR systems.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
