Description
A King & Bishop client company is hiring a business development sales leader who has the ability to cultivate and close new business opportunities for outsourced corporate accounting services. Our client is an established CPA and tax advisory firm growing within the life sciences and biotech industry. The successful candidate will have a general understanding of outsourced accounting services, how they are priced, and can meet monthly sales quotas with strong relationships with companies in these sectors.
Responsibilities:
Calling on prospects in life sciences and biotech organizations in need of outsourced accounting assistance
Properly qualify prospects prior to setting up calls and meetings with team members to assess their needs and potential fit as a client
Schedule prospect calls and meetings with team members to meet prospects
Collaborate with marketing to attract, grow, and evolve this dedicated practice group
Attend networking events in the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Family Office sectors
Participate in bi-weekly firm pipeline meetings and be prepared to review and discuss the status of on-going leads
Key Performance Indicators:
Meets monthly sales quota
Qualified leads brought to the outsourced group to help close the transaction
Team satisfaction and growth of the department resulting from sales efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
8-10 years of experience selling professional services, ideally with Life Sciences, Biotech, and/or Family Office sectors
Strong technology skills using Microsoft products
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building skills, and c-suite gravitas
Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
