Our client, an innovator in advanced materials development and manufacturing , is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS). Reporting to the Director of HR, the TAS is a key tactical role that serves as a partner to the organization in driving the recruiting lifecycle for union and non-union personnel along with a broad range of other HR disciplines to support the day to day needs of the operation.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effect relationships with all levels of the organization, vendors, candidates and the public.
- Work with hiring managers in the organization.
- Build balanced sourcing strategies to find talent actively and passively looking for opportunities.
- Conduct prescreening interviews and coordinate all candidate schedules and events.
- Administer and manage ATS.
- Maintain talent pipeline
- Uphold best practices and recruiting process standards. Recommend running improvements.
- Partner with other members of HR/OD team.
- Collect market data to support resource costing.
- Serve as primary backup for processing payroll.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of progressive professional experience with demonstrated capability to drive all aspects within the recruiting lifecycle
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously evolving business environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Working knowledge and experience with ATS, MS Office and social media planning
- Polished interpersonal skills
- Proven skills and experience as a problem solver
- Demonstrated general knowledge of employment law
