Description

Our client, a creative designer of events, production, and content, has an immediate opening for a Senior Director of Human Resources. This role will be the driver of the HR Team, accountable for strategies and results that ensure nurturing and development of talent and culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic HR plans to align with company goals and values
  • Champion the company culture and lead people-focused priorities that
    promote innovation, community, engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion,
    belonging, recognition, and similar values
  • Lead and manage the HR Team and oversee the work of related committees
  • Lead recruitment planning to attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent
  • Oversee Performance Management and Learning and Development Programs
    ensuring team members have clear career paths, resources, and feedback to
    succeed
  • Lead Executive Performance Coaching initiative and works with the Executive Team to strengthen collaboration as a team, and leadership of individual departments
  • Oversee employee relations including company communications, as well as individual evaluation, guidance, and plans of action
  • Contribute to Organizational Development and Change Management initiatives, supporting colleagues in rollout and adoption
  • Plan and manage HR Budget
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Senior HR roles
  • Experience with Creative Talent is preferred
  • A thorough understanding of state and federal laws, guidelines, and regulations as they relate to employment and workplace practices
  • Experience designing and implementing professional development programs
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and not be afraid to be “hands-on” to get it done
  • A passion for learning, innovation, and finding new efficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and can balance multiple demands and competing and changing priorities
  • A confident communicator (in writing, presentations, etc.) and can build
    relationships with various stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Professional certifications are a plus
  • Comfortable with collaboration tools and technology. Experience with Lattice, ADP, and Microsoft Office 365 preferred
