Description

Our client, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance fiber lasers and amplifiers, has an immediate opening for a Recruiting/HR Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as first point-of-contact through telephonic, electronic (email, text, chat), or paper-based interaction channels for current and former employees, regarding questions related to portal navigation and HR/ Payroll policies and procedures
  • Strive to improve employee engagement by providing excellent customer
    service
  • Assist with basic transactions as assigned, according to proper procedure, policy, and direction
  • Assist HR team members, supervisors, and managers with day-to-day execution of duties and support the team regarding proper procedures, policies, and requirements
  • Assist the HR Supervisor with establishing and improving upon defined HR procedures and processing methods to meet production and performance goals efficiently and accurately
  • Process data entry for the U.S. and Canada employment related transactions accurately and timely

Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required
  • 0-1 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR service center environment
  • Experience with HR technologies such as ADP Workforce Now is preferred
  • Comfortable with heavy data entry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to show empathy and understanding with all levels of employees
  • Highly collaborative team player; able to partner with others to get work done effectively
  • Demonstrated experience streamlining processes and creating efficiencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Action-oriented; taking on new challenges with a sense of urgency and
    enthusiasm
  • Extremely flexible; able to adapt to shifting demands and make necessary adjustments
