Our client, a leader in engineering bonding solutions, has an immediate opening for an HR/Payroll Manager. The HR/Payroll Manager position is mostly onsite to supply a high degree of HR support to company employees, in every role. The HR/Payroll Manager will act as a strategic partner to the Director of HR and is an integral member of this highly professional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide benefits administration including the enrollment and termination of employee benefits and monthly benefit reconciliation
  • Supply hands-on payroll management including HRIS transactions – New Hires, Terminations, Benefit Set-Up, etc.
  • Conduct employee termination procedures including exit interview meetings
  • Assist with the review, investigation, and resolution of employee relations and performance management matters
  • Work as an instrumental member of the HR team to develop and drive the organization's employee engagement and retention strategy
  • Oversee leave process including but not limited to ensuring proper notifications and compliance under federal and state leave mandates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in human resources
  • Above average Excel and Ad hoc reporting skills
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll specifically ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS strongly preferred
