Our client, a real estate security provider, is looking for a Field Staffing Manager (FSM).  The FSM is responsible for all aspects of recruiting practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and the on-going development of recruitment and retention. The FSM will achieve staffing objectives by sourcing, recruiting and evaluating job candidates. Supervises and manages the recruiters as well as recruiting support staff. The candidate will assist and advise company managers about recruiting issues.


  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; using job boards and on-line recruiting resources.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Manage all internal transfers.
  • Manage ATS and review/approve monthly invoices.
  • Update the “O” drive with the most recent forms and information for recruiting.
  • Manage all new site start-ups.
  • Manage all remote hiring from Account Managers.
  • Ensure Opens Tracker is updated daily.
  • Manage Opens email.
  • Schedule and run ATS training for Account Managers
  • Manage all communications with background vendor.
  • Manage all on-site and off-site orientation.
  • Assist with managing onboarding of applicants.
  • Manage and supervise background vendor employment check follow-ups.
  • Prepare and initiate Opens Meeting weekly.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Assist HR Manager/Director as needed.


  • An undergraduate degree with a focus on Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience at management level in security or employment placement industry or similar preferred.
  • Able to work successfully and productively in a team environment or independently.
  • Strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions
  • Proven analytical, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce.
  • Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment and the ability to balance other business considerations
  • High energy level, and ability to multitask, establish priorities, and work independently.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
