Our client, a long-established creator of innovative, technology-based solutions designed to support family caregivers, has an immediate need for an experienced Director of Corporate Communications.

The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for leading all aspects of the Client’s internal and external communications. This individual acts as the client’s communications advocate, collaborating and crafting compelling programs and content that elevate the brand. Candidates should be seasoned communications leader with expertise in structuring and implementing effective integrated communications programs that align with strategic priorities. This individual will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and partner closely with the Chief of Staff and Head of People and Culture.  The Director will collaborate with the marketing team associates, senior executives and cross functional business leaders.


  • Build and oversee the development of a strategic and cross functional communications program - both internally and externally facing
  • Establish strategy map and messaging architecture that span the Commonwealth’s Medicaid/health plans and commercial clients; Drive visibility for the Company’s brand and voice in an increasingly competitive marketplace
  • Serve as a strategic and thought partner to senior leadership across disciplines on strategy, core topics, key messages, format, delivery and cadence; author/edit communications as needed
  • Create, implement, and deliver internal and external communications and marketing materials, both internal and external, using both traditional and new media channels
  • Work collaboratively with the CMO, Chief of Staff, and People & Culture team to develop and execute a robust internal communications strategy to enhance and promote employer brand both internally and externally
  • Provide leadership and support for company-wide employee programs and events, including Company Town Halls
  • Partner closely with Chief Marketing Officer on the annual strategic marketing process and plan
  • Provide project management and consultation on public and media relations initiatives as appropriate, with a focus on consistent messaging, efficiency and impact. Coordinate all necessary PR response efforts, including crisis management
  • Lead, coach and develop content team to meet company and departmental goals; vendor management as needed, including freelance creative team


  • 10 years of progressive leadership in marketing and strategic communications and 5 years of progressive management with proven ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Proven experience with both internal and external communications; content management, and strategic marketing / messaging architecture, PR crisis management
  • Familiarity with health care services market/managed care; digital health experience a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation with proven ability to influence and consult with senior leadership
  • Strong collaborator and ability to quickly build relationships and engage with cross functional stakeholders
  • Proven problem solver with sound judgment around stakeholder engagement
  • Well organized, exceptionally curious, self-starter
