King & Bishop

John brings over twenty years of well rounded entrepreneurial experience in Management Consulting, Coaching, Staffing, Human Resource Consulting, and Business Development. He is President and one of the principals of King & Bishop, as well as CEO of the Biomedical Search Consultants Division. Before John and Brendan joined together in 2004, John started his career as a national recruiter and then expanded to managing the New England Region for B&M Associates, a National Temporary Technical Staffing Firm. From there, he went on to start up a local Temporary Staffing Firm.

Kathy is the Managing Director of Biomedical Search Consultants, a division of King & Bishop. She has more than ten years of experience in the life sciences staffing field. She has another seven years of experience as a Human Resources Consultant, including serving as Research Director for a Boston area consulting firm. Kathy has worked as a staffing generalist within such medical device corporations as Hologic, ACMI Gyrus (now Olympus), and CRF Health. Her professional experience also includes corporate communication, including producing award-winning training media for the American Management Association.  

Ronald J. Parker is a management advisor accredited by the Institute for Independent Business, a not-for-profit research and accreditation organization established in 1984. He has a proven track record of building business value through sales growth, cost containment and human resources development. His goal is to provide guidance and practical advice to small and medium sized businesses.

Leto is an ICF Certified Life Coach, specializing in helping businesses and individuals through professional transitions.  She facilitates many of King & Bishops workshops for job seekers and professionals on topics covering Social Media, Branding, Networking, Interviewing, and more. Leto teaches job seekers to promote themselves successfully and businesses to market themselves effectively via Social Media and other resources.  

Mark is a Client Services Director within our Human Resources staffing team and manager of the King & Bishop HR Roundtable, an industry networking group. He has over twenty years of experience within fortune 500 banking, financial services and insurance related global institutions. Prior to King & Bishop, Mark delivered technical staffing services through a large regional software and IT provider.

Mark is a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Bob Purcell is the Director of Client Services within our staffing services team. Bob has over 19 years experience in the staffing industry, primarily in the technical recruiting domain.

Marie Daniel has joined King & Bishop in a research and recruiting capacity. She has almost fifteen years of combined experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Josh Blumenshine is a staffing consultant with King & Bishop. He served as a Captain in the United States Army - Air Defense Artillery. Following his service to the country, he held management roles for large scale retailers including Sears, Target, and The Home Depot. Previous to King & Bishop, he was a customer service manager with Schneider Logistics.

Neal Fay is a Director of Client Services at King & Bishop. He began his high technology career in Engineering at Bolt, Beranek and Newman in Cambridge, MA. His sales experience in high tech, energy, advertising, and start up ventures spanning 25 years makes him a valued contributor to King & Bishop.

Peter Mattera is the Managing Director of Staffing Services Programs for King  & Bishop. Through his extensive experience spanning 25 years in the staffing industry, he has held multiple roles including  recruiting/talent development, recruiting management, business development/business acquisition along with proven experience in Managed Staffing Provider (MSP) programs  and Vendor Management Services  (VMS).

Margot is a Director with Biomedical Search Consultants. Prior to joining the biomedical search team, she worked for national workforce development firms and training organizations in the capacity of sales, operations, trainer and coach. As a recruiter and career coach, she works with people in transition helping them find their next, BEST opportunity. If she were to write a tag line for herself, it would be “chief encourager” because this describes her passion to help people of all ages realize their value and reach their potential. In addition to her work with Biomedical Search consultants, she founded and leads KidsWin.org, a non-profit dedicated to helping children and teens thrive.
