Note: To gain the full workshop experience, a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 attendees for each workshop is part of the requirement. You will be notified one day in advance to discuss your options, if this requirement is not met.
Two Sessions in one day, attend one or both. Bring or buy your own lunch and participate in a Networking Roundtable between the sessions. The luncheon meeting is available if you register for either or both sessions.

This workshop will show you how to best utilize social networking sites during your job search and what types of messages you want to be sending to your network. You will learn how to position yourself to create job and networking opportunities. Social Networking 101 is ideal for anyone who is not familiar with these sites and all they have to offer for career connections

You will learn the purposes of and how to best prepare for different types of interviews. We will discuss how to develop appropriate questions to ask the interviewer, and how to respond to interview questions and tailor answers to best reflect your strengths and accomplishments.

This seminar introduces job hunting techniques and strategies needed in order to conduct a successful job search. The learning process begins with a structured discussion that allows participants to explore attitudes and emotions concerning the loss of employment. Energy is then refocused toward launching and maintaining a resolute, self-managed job search. Activities include self assessments, resume writing, networking tools and interview preparation.

Master successful interviewing through video and feedback! Video is a powerful learning tool; we use the latest technology for a relaxed, non-intrusive experience. We will tape your practice interview sessions and provide feedback. You'll also get to observe three fellow participants' interviews. Your interview will be uploaded to a private channel so you can review it at any time. Each session is limited to 4 participants.
This workshop is unique – it shows you not only how to use LinkedIn, but also why. The majority of LinkedIn users who create a profile, join some groups, and then sit back and wait for the magic to happen. This is like buying a hammer and expecting it to build an addition to your house – all by itself. Like the hammer, LinkedIn is a tool. Before you start building that addition, you determined what the end result would be, and created a blueprint. This workshop helps you create your LinkedIn blueprint. You'll determine what you want LinkedIn to do (position you as an expert in your field, increase visibility to recruiters and hiring managers, build your network, generate business leads, etc.).
This workshop is hands-on – you'll be working on your own profile and network. You'll also receive a detailed workbook with step-by-step instructions and screen shots for you to use as a reference tool after the class.
