OFFERS AND NEGOTIATIONS
Time: 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. Most people who receive job offers assume that they have to either accept the offer or reject it. In reality often times, there is the opportunity to negotiate the offer. We will discuss preparing for the negotiating process and the steps involved including: obtaining the offer, analyzing and evaluating it, comparing the offer versus your trade offs and goals, negotiation and walk away points. Suggestions for deflecting and successfully handling the salary question will be provided. This session is intended to be interactive and questions are encouraged. |
